Thanks to everyone for a great season. It's a win in my book! We hit our bumps along the road, but made it through for a very competitive year. Thanks to Logan and Victor for their help in the transition process - we couldn't have done it without you guys. The Braves are our champion - congrats to Harris. And congratulations to all teams who made the playoffs in year one as well as all the award winners. Please see the Trophy Room in the league archives for details! Congrats to all the teams that did well this year, and for the rest of us, it's Maybe Next Year! Offseason news and notes:[/size] - You may begin posting your Franchise Tags at any time, but they MUST BE POSTED BY 2 PM ET (12 PM PT) NOVEMBER 1ST- Any teams who have not posted their 2012 Rosters are not eligible to make any moves in Free Agency or the Trade market, so you should do that as soon as possible - Free Agents go on the market on November 1 at 2 PM ET (12 PM PT) - Trading can resume on November 1 at 2 PM ET (12 PM PT) - League Fee of $20[/u] must be received before November 1. This ensures that I know who is and isn't coming back so that all new owners would have the opportunity to participate in the offseason. Paypal is preferable but let me know if you want to do something else. If you have any questions, please let me know! I'm looking forward to next year - the league's money is on the Rangers ;D

Two additional things:
Winter "Meetings" are now in progress and will last until November 1. We have had some discussions surrounding certain rules changes, and now will be the time to start finalizing them.
The 3 Round Minor League Draft will be conducted starting in 2 Saturdays on October 15th and last until Sunday October 30th. Each team will receive 12 hours TOTAL between their 3 picks once they have been contacted. The way it will work is whoever is selecting is responsible of sending notice of their selection to NOT ONLY the league and post it, but to also contact the person who is set to select after them to let them know that they are now on the clock. If you run out of your 12 hours during a pick, you simply lose that pick and we move onto the next team.
Per the rules:
MLB Player Draft
A 3 round annual draft of non-rostered minor leaguers will be held following the 2011 season. The date the draft will start will be determined by the Commissioners with ample notice. The draft order will be based on the inverse of the standings from the previous season, with the bottom 5 teams entering a lottery to determine the order. This will not be a snake ordered draft. All minor league player's salaries will likely be at the minimum, however, we will still use Cot's as a reference for signed minor leaguers. Keep in mind; minor leaguers if placed on the 20-Man Minor League Roster do not count against the salary cap unless their contract's AAS is more then 1 million dollars. This draft is for minor leaguers only. All minor leaguers who were drafted in June will be eligible to be drafted, along with any minor leaguer not on a roster. No player who has entered prospect status may be drafted, only signed through Free Agency.
