I would like to discuss changing this rule. As it stands if you offer a contract it is a flat amount for all the years you offered. I would like to see it changed. Would like to see the Gm's be able to run their team by setting up the contracts so it works for the future and present of their team.
Example:
Carlos Pena: 5 years 20 Million AAS
1st year: 30 Million 2nd year: 20 Million 3rd year: 10 Million 4th year: 25 Million 5th year: 15 Million
Guess I'm just wondering what everybody else thinks. Haven't heard many opinions on it , but would like to. With this rule though the idea of being able to drop players and not be responsible for years signed ahead would have to be changed also or GM's will load it up in the back and then drop them which is obvious.

I think it should only go up to. Very rare to find a real contract that goes down in money per year.

That would be fine I just think we should be able to move the money around for the reasons I said above. Back loading it would be fine as long as we change the rule that u have to pay half of all years you signed a player.
