The AL East continues its dominating ways as the Jays, Rays, Yanks, and Orioles all took it to their opponents. Even the very young Red Sox squad put together a very strong week but ran into a hot Rangers squad.
The AL Central appears well in hand as the Tigers win again while the Twins' superstar roster continues to severely underperform with another loss this week.
The A's squeak out another victory to continue their hot streak and get their AL West lead to 2 games as the Angels continue their slide.
The Mets continued to barely hold their head above the NL East with a tiebreaker win this week as the division race has gotten very tight with 3 teams at 9-6. They are no doubt looking over their shoulder at any of those teams. The Nationals had a superb week and seem to be a hot team right now.
The Brew Crew continues to hold a firm grasp on the NL Central while the Pirates hot play is starting to get the attention of the league; no one wants to face this spoiler team down the stretch!
The Rockies continue to build their lead in the NL West as they sit firmly atop the NL - the Dodgers continue to slide
